The LALS Minor Program

 

The course of study in the minor program is designed to introduce students to the wide range of disciplines with the program of Latin American and Latino Studies Program and to encourage students to pursue intensive studies in their particular fields of interest. Those who are interested in the minor should fill out an Application for Minor with their school and contact the director, Dr. Mario A. Ortiz, at: ortizm@cua.edu

 

Requirements: The program consists of three core courses and three electives, for a minimum of eighteen credit hours. Students will select one core course from each of three of the following departments or schools: Anthropology, History, Modern Languages, Music, Politics, and Religious Studies. Major courses may not be used in LALSP.
